Maybe it should be an overnight bus trip. Syracuse on Friday then on to Cornell on Saturday! -

In the criteria, missing players are not a factor. -

U Mass is usually pretty good in lax. I wouldn't drop them. -

That's why our goals need to be big, including stadium expansion. This beast known as the university of Albany athletics program will grow as large and as impressive as those calling the shots let it grow. Think BIG. I've always believed that we were a sleeping giant, one that could rival the major athletics programs in the country. The capital of NYS. It's a no brainer - look at what we've done thus far. The more expansion to the stadium, the better things get. Has Benson drawn up a ten year plan yet? We need a brand new basketball arena! SEFCU would be a fine field house. It's too small for track, so an inexpensivew fieldhouse is probably cheaper in the long run. A SEFCU renovation is probably an easier sell than a new bldg. -

It actually looked like we gave up the face off and attacked them to immediately turn them over. I thought we did a pretty good job of that. -
I think you're mistaken.
-
It's owned by Fuller Road Mgt. Not by any school.

I was talking McKay.

The number of extra possessions our opponents get because of our poor faceoff execution is sooo hard to overcome. I'm amazed we ever win against quality opponents! -
I hear he's transferring.
-
The land it's on was never part of the campus proper.
-
President Jones did mention that we picked up 12 acres of Harriman for the e-tech bldg and the new college of emergency preparedness (or whatever the name is) plus the rehab of the Schyler bidg. in the downtown campus for the new engineering programs.
-
To be fair, how many brackets picked in April would be very good? Maybe that's a contest to be gambled on, for those who indulge in such things.
-
As they're trying to expand in graduate studies and particularly Masters programs, I don't think that will happen. All thetalk was of raising academics and the addition of engineering, more atmospheric science and medical research.
-
If he went even if he paid his own way, 1. The governor would not be pleased. Near future funding you all clamor for....... not happening. 2. Will comes under fire from local and national media (the liberal ones)negating much of the favorable press we've just gotten. Attending those games is not that important. He'd be crazy to go.
-
He did say moving the e-tech bidg. to the Harriman campus would delay it by about 18 months. He also talked about the faculties at UA and Albany Law were working on interdisciplinary curriculums. Also talked about renaming the East campus and collaborations with Downstate and Albany Medical College. He also spoke to the athletic successes and their positive affects on applications, alimni pride and donations.

They funded a scholarship.

A field house suitable for indoor track and various intramural, practices, etc. could be built fairly inexpensively, then you can do the SEFCU rehab. I believe those are some of the current thoughts of some.
-
Make the check out to UA Foundation.

I personally think that the Mark Benson is going to make it easier for Will to stay in Albany. Mr. Benson's strength in developing community involvement and fund raising as well as his vision for UAlbany athletics seem to mirror coaches (and the current board members). Hopefully they'll come to an agreement which will benefit the coach, fans and university. There hasn't been a better time to raise funds. UAlbany's name and story has never enjoyed more widespread recognition (Thank's Peter, RIP Sue). Maybe we should also set up a SH scholarship?

Yes you can identify where you want your gift to go when you donate. You can be as specific as you want. If you have questions you can always email them before donating. And I don't think it's crazy to donate to a specific item..people do it all the time. Donate to UAlbany Basketball ..that's pretty broad. I'm not at all saying start a BPF effort, I was just pointing out there is already a way to help the team or facility and that's by donating now, that's all. Your money can go to a specific team if you want, all that little money helps.. help fund travel for a recruiting trip etc. I've done just this many times. Bob Ford Field, Football, LAX WBB, Volleyball Lockerroom updates, etc. Check with Casey Crandell for areas which need and which match your areas of interest. Anything you can do is very much appreciated.

The sample size is large enough to conclude they have more intelligent readers than the times useless Usually you are "over the top", but this was priceless! -
There you go! By the way, 12 people at the SXM viewing party along with some Iowa and Wisconcin fans joining in.
