Do you really think; by abandoning ship these guys are exempt from career ending/changing penalties, if they had knowing covered up an assault on a student athlete. If Fiz's allegations are true {and like I said I do not think so}, ANYONE/ALL who knew about an "assault" and did not come forward will be black-balled or worse, by any institution of quality.

Was everyone in the locker room that day--players, coaches, water/towel persons, etc. involved in a giant conspiracy to protect/cover-up a delinquent coach, who with malicious & forethought assaulted a student athlete to"fire him up." Even DT had/has detractors to debunk his conspiracy theories. You think DK is more powerful/convincing than trum$.; not a single person in that locker room has come forward to say the incident was more than an accident in a warm-up circle?????????

I think it’s better to get out than stay.  Now they can say “I told the University what I knew, they took an action I wasn’t comfortable with and I left”.

This loss is on Hutcheson. WTF IS HE DOING? Did he make one pass after the ball came to him all game? Just chuckin and chuckin and chuckin. Kid is the least athletic kid on any basketball court in America and runs like his feet have weights strapped to em. I know he's an upperclassmen but I liked him more when he was just there for rebounds and crap. He SHOULD NOT be our primary shooter. EVER. 9 f'in shot attempts. He should take 3-4. TOPS.

I don’t like that he took 9-3’s but he had 6RB’s, 2 blocks, and a steal.  Foot speed isn’t great but he’s got some hop.

    Early thoughts:

    1. Beagle will be very, very good

    2. Drumgoole could be a solid glue guy/gets you what you need when you need it guy.

    3. Reddish is about a year away from, I personally think, breaking out.  He does some things well, and some not so well (including the charge just now).  The talent is there but going back to 1882...he needs to be coached up.  He gets coached up and listens to it, he can be really solid.

    4. Every single guard is a mess but for Patel.  Edmead seriously looks like a walk-on.  Amica has made about 4 bonehead plays.  Evans continuing the St. Rose "drive into a mass of bodies" and / or go run ahead of my whole team causing a reverse "numbers" issue.

    5. Except for Reddish and Evans, not a single guy can put the ball on the floor and drive on Towson.

    6. Neely changes this team...we are likely looking at a 5-7 differential right now.

Won't judge after one half...but some of these things are holdovers from last year and they need to be fixed.  This is Killings year to grow as a coach.  And he MUST go out and get another big in the portal.  We have a frosh coming in...but we need some height for next year.

I was thinking the same on 2 & 6 above. Neely changes a lot.  And 1, like Beagle after the early travel.

For me it is the people who run the parking.  It's atrocious. People not knowing that you need to be a season ticket holder to go to the Sefcu lot. Holding up the line. It's really bad. Have someone out front to direct people !!!!!! It's not that hard.

The athletic department has to see this and the fact they do nothing about it is mind boggling.  Simple things like this are the reason I dislike our AD.

And simply move the people scanning the tickets into the driveway a bit.  This would allow traffic to flow for those needing to get to Dutch and make left turns into the lot more feasible.

    This stuff is so easy.

  5. If this is the result don’t they still need some transparency here?  I know they’ll try to hide behind the “it’s a personnel matter”, but this is different no?

How do we as a fan base get (back) behind DK without details?

How do recruits, and their parents, send their kids here without understanding what did/didn’t happen?

Everyone's reactions to this latest wrinkle says more about them than the leaders who are rallying. I don't think that there's any indication that they're excusing the physical altercation that was reported, but you're kidding yourself if you think that a first time coach, especially if he's Black, is going to receive the same level of due process as a fifteen year veteran white coach. There's a two tiered system of justice in this country whether it is criminal or part of an internal HR investigation.

Frankly, it is either naive or willfully ignorant to think that DK isn't more likely to be thrown to the wolves to save the jobs of the folks in the athletic department who seem to have committed the more grave sin of covering up whatever incident may have happened.

I’ll zig where others zag.  There’s a fair chance the administration (including Benson) treated this with kid gloves because he’s a minority.  Afraid of this exact reaction.  I’ll go ahead and consider myself neither naive or willfully ignorant thank you.
