6'6'' 240 lbs...that's some size. Out of Indiana and played at Eastern Arizona College. 2 years eligibility left. Scouts says he got offers from Indiana and Oklahoma St. when he was in HS. Leading scorer for EZC last year 16.3 ppg and 8.6 rpg. 42 blocks as well. HS video: Looks like a kid who wants to go to the basket

BOOM! Champions. Hell of a way to end the program. A sad yet very very proud moment.

3 years eligibility...out of missouri state west plains, from Canada. 6'6'' 225 lbs. 14 pts per game last year, shoots 74% from the line, 6 rebounds per game.

Win today and the program ends as champions. Final AE tennis championship today. If they win it would be programs first and last title.

got mine today also...and it's got the nike swoosh on the front. fits pretty good, not perfect, but that's how Nike plays games with my body all the time.

Anderson is out of Atlanta... Best I can find on him. Seems very aggressive with shots, but looks to feed to ball also. Not sure how much you can take from a 1 minute 30 second video from 3 years ago when he was in HS.

Something really interesting from the article: That's really crazy. Shows that the sport is having serious issues sustaining itself. I think what makes me feel "better" (even though not a good thing no matter what), is that this had nothing to do with funding. The sport could have survived in UA, but it really was nothing to do with funding. I'm interested to see if they contacted the MAAC about it. MAAC has 9 teams for tennis. Especially with women's golf affiliation, I'm kinda surprised MAAC would say no if they were asked. Maybe even the NEC...but we only know so much.

I mean honestly, it's a Nike shirt. With the fees, you probably paying what the actual cost of the shirt would be in the store...Nike on the name always adds that extra $$$$

you knew it was coming. I wrote a thread back in November that it looked like it was dead since UA was one of only 3 AE squads left. Sad to see a sport "killed off". I feel for the student athletes more than anything. If you look at the UA squad, very young and very international...which I think is good for marketing. However, it's about numbers and $$$$. I would think Stony Brook and Binghamton are going to make the same announcements before the end of the school year. AE Tennis is officially dead.

by the way...if anyone noticed...if you click the store link on athletic page website, it directs you to the campus bookstore. It seems that all apparel goes through them. Interesting.
