They need this game to stay unbeaten in the NEC and keep pace with Central. They also have a revenge factor from last year. I do not think Monmouth is as good defensivly as they were last year. I also believe Albany is faster then people think(Bazan is fast as hell). The move to the wishbone was pure genious on Ford's part. No one in the NEC runs it so its difficult to defend because defenses have not seen it in conference play. The wishbone is designed for clock control and to utilize your best asset. As Ford stated Bazan is a 3rd running back that throws occasionally. Mike Wall will be missed. If we can get a lead and move the sticks we will win.

Albany 24

Monmouth 12

Two tough games on the road for football at the Brook and Robert Morris. I'm pretty confident about Albany conference hopes also. I'm hoping CCSU stays on course and that last game of the season is for the conference championship.

Agree about volleyball. That conference championship would be nice because you get to host the tourney. A few more tests in conference play still left but Northeastern looked to be the front-runner. From Coach Sheffield's description it sounded like the Danes really turned it up against NU.

Don't forget men's soccer is still in the mix and as you said anything can happen at the tourney. Field Hockey has a good shot at making the conference tourney too.
