Women win tonight

Recommended Posts

Quick Recap: Albany went down early with 10-2 run by AU. Then Albany countered with a 13-0 run themselves. This has been a problem with the ladies this season. They have never really been able to get of to a good start. The teams traded the lead until halfway through the 2nd half with a 12-1 run. Hutch had a stellar game with 21 points 10 boards and 5 blocks. Tanya James had a breakout game (awesome for her) with 11 points off the bench. Albany shot a blistering 50% from the field. A great game for them after a poor performance last game. Great way for them to go into conference play. Reminder: WCDB coverage resumes Wednesday Jan. 5th against UNH.

Mookie also had a double-double, 16 pts and 15 rebounds. My favorite freshman Gia Sanders had a (for now) career high 7 points. Great to see James, Mikus and Sanders chip in with points and take some of the pressure to score off the starters. I see Clark didn't play, is she hurt?
