Today's Paper

Just terrific, now Ettkin's on our side.

Should spur some entertaining commentary on the $iena board.

Best are the final paragraphs - Will Brown wouldn't mind still being Albany's coach 25 years from now. Of course, that's what he says now, before any big bucks are in front of him, but it still sounds good, and may mean he won't go anywhere unless he gets an offer from a BCS conference school - a longshot without any major conference experience.

Today's Gazette features Brian Lillis. Brown says he can play the one, two, or three, and expects him to play point more to give Jamar more time at the two. But not until Brian's wrist isn't so tightly wrapped - right now he wouldn't want Lillis playing against the press while dribbling with only his right hand.

That is great stuff no matter how you look at it. Hopefully this spurs interest for tomorrow nights game and the home games for the rest of the season.

Brown's comments about staying are certainly music to our ears. Sometime this winter or spring we should be reading about Brown being given a contract extension.

... (when the program becomes what he envisions ... the Danes will) "have a chance to win the America East Conference every year. We want to win 20 games and go to the NCAA Tournament every year. Is it possible? Tell me why not." - WB

an optimist w/a proven record of success ... time for the AD to put a five year offer on the table ... nice to read positive articles
