Play the Lottery

Hey I was thinking since we are looking to build a football stadium and we are going to need around 25 million to do it so why not play the lottery this week, I think its over 200 million. Just a thought

Before we didn't win the lottery my wife was saying if we won we could chip in enough for a new stadium to get the naming rights. She liked either Bigpurplefans.com stadium or just Big Purple Stadium.

 

I've been out on the west coast recently and reading about the absurd amounts of money Nike's Phil Knight gives to Oregon. I was thinking Nike's current president is a UA grad. Wouldn't it be nice if he followed Phil Knight's example.

I was intrigued by this post. I cannot find anyone on the Nike list of executives that graduated from UA. John Notar was born in Schenectady, but he is the VP of European Team Sports. Any further info that may not be on the site? This is something that should be looked into if true. That is how you get endowments...go right to the prestigous alumni. Thats how Albany Law is doing it now after many years of being in debt. It doesn't hurt that the Vice President and Chief Legal Counsel of Home Depot and the CEO of Time Warner are both Albany Law Grads either.

Tom Clarke is President of one of the business units at Nike - he is a UA graduate.

Right Reeder. That's who I was talking about. He may have even run track at UA although I'm not sure about that.

Ahah. The only executive on the site without a link to his biography. According to the UA Alumni directory he is a graduate of 1973. The directory is very specific including his current home address and telephone number. Maybe we should get President Hall up to date with that information?????
