Big Doubleheader Tomorrow

Recommended Posts

At 5PM our ladies take on a powerful Hartford squad in their first AE Conference game.

This should be interesting as the Lady Danes who are 4-7 (but their wins have come against teams with a composite 6-41 records) are facing the top rated AE Team.

I've been surprised at the limited time 6'4" highly touted Turkish import Devran Tanacan has been getting. I guess I expected her to come in and replace Danielle right away, but it seems she's only getting 12 min pg.

At 7PM the men will host Maine a very dangerous perimeter team. The men will be seeking to go 4-0 in conference.

It should be interesting to see if Iati, Levine, Siggers or even Lu have a breakout games on the offensive end. Defense has gotten us where are in conference but the offense seems to be struggling and inconsistent.

Maine could be a different team if Kevin Reed plays tomorrow. Haven't seen anything either way but in the fall I think they gave late December as a timeframe for his return. They've struggled without him but have won two in a row.

I thought the offense looked better Weds than it has this season. Not sure if it was bad Hartford defense but I'd like to think it wasn't. Seemed like a lot better passing than I've seen before and some easy baskets off guys (especially Lou) making cuts to the basket. I'd guess some of it is from the confidence that comes from winning a few games in a row.
