IS this great for recruiting or what?

Recommended Posts

Fourth day in a row we have made a NYC daily (good to have a grad at the Post).

Most NY'ers read the Post for their sports (one of the best sports sections in the country...the rest of the paper is a rag.)

This will open up many doors for Will to recruit.

This week and year have really been great.

Here's one example of how fortunes have changed for UAlbany men's basketball. I can barely keep up with developments on this forum. Dane Pound, thanks again for all you do to keep this site up. It is really helpful to those of us who do not reside right in the Capital District.

I have heard a couple comments on scheduling for next year. For the first time in our short history, we will be playing schools who want to meet us to raise their RPI's. Before anyone jumps on me for that comment, I know that Utah Valley State agreed to come here this reason partly for that reason, but that game was a one-time phenomenon.

In the future, there will be many more schools who will want to have us on their OOC schedule for that reason.

Now, I'm also realistic. We are now and will continue to schedule teams like UCLA and UConn who will help us prepare for the conference season and beyond.

But what a change from the not-too-distant past.
