Fallon Field Question

Recommended Posts

I was walking around the lacrosse field today since I have a summer job on campus, and I was wondering about the stands. I know they're supposed to be putting in permanent stands, so I tried to picture where they were going to be. I'm assuming that they're going to put them in that gravel area between Fallon Field and the Field Hockey field? If so, will the stands just face Fallon, or will there be another side facing the FH field? Everytime I walk by there it bugs me, so any info would help, thanks.

I thought the plan was for an A-frame with seats facing each way, but I don't think there's enough room for more than 10-12 rows each side. Maybe they'll put the bleachers on tracks so they can be spun around between seasons

The first home Field Hockey game is in 26 days (Colgate, Aug. 30)

Why bother with the expense of tracks. Just mount the whole thing on a pole, and then it can swing around on its own with the prevailing wind.

(Okay, sorry for that one. It's Friday.)
