Great to see Coach Brown and the team at a local school. Evidently they were out talking about education and ethics.

Great exposure for our student athletes to speak in front of large groups.

I'm sure Coach was trying to influence a couple of youngsters to become Dane Fans.

It was also great that a couple of TV stations had it on tonights news

i believe that i have stated in the past an appreciation for the political reporting on WTEN Ch. 10 ... but coverage of local college basketball by their sports dept. is poor ... heavy siena bias ... they were invited to the event above, and not surprisingly, failed to send a crew ... they have failed often in their coverage of UA athletics ... thanks to WNYT and Cap. News 9 for their efforts in covering the UA athletic program (including their community service events) ... tremendous effort by the entire coaching staff and players today for making the event a memorable experience for nearly two hundred middle school students ... great job!

This type of outreach is very noble on many fronts. It is not the first time a UAlbany men's team has done this. I recall seeing a segment on Wyland's Saturday afternoon show three years ago when Joe Vukovic, Antoine Johnson and a third player who I can't seem to recall right now participated in a similar program. Kudos to all who arranged and participated.

Rusty

Without a doubt Charlie has done a tremendous jod building community support. It's evident to all regular attendees to Hoop games that things have changed for the better in regard to all parts of promoting Danes Basketball.

Many times we don't know the impetus behind certain actions but it has been noticed often on this board that Charlie has done a great job.
