Albany RPI - 96!!!

According to RealTimeRPI, weve moved up to 96 in the RPI rankings, one ahead of Vermont, for now. Nice!

Our SOS (currently 205) is really the big thing hurting us at this point. There are only two teams with a better RPI and worse SOS..Winthrop (RPI 78, SOS 254) and New Mexico St. (RPI 75, SOS 238).

 

The Boise State game will help some (if they stop losing!..dropped the past two, down to a 11-10 record and RPI 109), but nothing much more than that by just playing our second 'round' of conference games.

It also has helped that each team we've lost to this season (other than Bingo) won their latest game.

I guess that closes the books on what the RPI is really worth (aside from fodder for the Tournament Committee).

This Real Time RPI always has us at a lower (better) number than the RPI I see in the paper. Are these two different numbers or am I missing something? No wise comments!
