it's taking far longer to make Herbst president than it did to replace Hitchcock with Kermit and that worries me.

Next Monday will mark one year since Pres. Hall's death; the finalist candidates won't be arriving on campus for interviews until the midpoint of the coming semester.

 

That really sucks. Why is it taking so long to replace Kermit (probably 2 years after his death) than it took to replace Hitchcock (just under a year from when she announced her resignation to the announcement of Hall taking the job)? Are UA's priorities THAT screwed up or is it that hard to find a president in the case of sudden loss? Can anyone relate this to any other case?

 

It took $iena less than a year to find a president. Why then is it taking Albany nearly 2? Bad, bad UA!!

Let's just hope that it's worth the wait and we get someone stellar. Damn shame what happened to Pres. Hall. You just knew he was going to do great things for UA.
