Great effort and the game turned out much better than it looked like it would be early on. Curious to see who the mystery man was on the Danes bench tonight. Felt bad for Iati tonight missing the 3 to tie. He was really working hard for his shots and looked like Reggie Miller sprinting all over the court to try and get an open look. This team is so close to pulling one of these games off, a missed box-out or phantom foul are killing us at the end.

I'm not sure what Wyatt did stat-wise tonight but I enjoyed his near takedown of Klimes on the loose ball in the second half. Looked like a clean play, just agressive and seemed to fire everyone up.

Mystery Man is Ted (or Tim?) McCall, 6'1" soph. who was a women's practice player - mentioned on the telecast.

In the game notes for BU- Kenny Maccalla a walk-on from Middletown was added to the roster. He played for his region in the Empire State Games.

Am I correct in assuming that two bodies were added to the roster?

No, my ears are old, or there's dirt on the videotape, or Rodger was wrong - yeah, that's it. Only one new player.

The coaches are probably out searching for another body bu right now we are dressing "8" - 5 scholarships and 3 walk ons.

 

Stat of the Day - 40% of UA's starting team are walk ons. That should rank us #1 in DI.

Let's hope that Brown is looking for some more bodies just for practice.

 

Brown took a calculated risk coming into this year. He knew that Jordan and Zoellner were important to the program and the requirement to sit out would leave the team shorthanded this year. What he obviously couldn't know would be the injuries to Wilson and Pipikis.
