Called the Box Office

 

$75 for "Gold Ringside" - first 2 rows of seats.

$50 for seats in the rest of "Ringside" - next 5 rows after Gold Ringside.

$30 for "200" seating - not sure what this is.

$20 for General Admission.

Delmar's Elizabeth Moody will join us on today to talk about her upcoming boxing match. Liz is the 6th ranked boxer in the world. She will take on Bonnie Mann in a WBE world welterweight title fight this Saturday night at SEFCU Arena. Tickets are on sale at Sweeney's Boxing, 160 Delaware Ave. or you can call 439-5656. Tickets are also available at the UAlbany box office by calling 442-4683.

 

We had some fun with Liz while she was here. Jim and Brian competed in the Showbiz Showdown. It was a Jeopardy style game with topics like "Reality Show Winners" and "Biggest Celebrity Train Wrecks". There were four rounds. Each question was worth a certain amount of punches from Liz. The loser would be the one that Liz would beatdown. And Jim reigned supreme with a come from behind win over Brian. He ended up getting whacked around by Liz.

Confirmed with the UA Box Office, the fight IS Saturday - scheduled against UA-Siena basketball.

I'm glad I read this. I was all set to trudge over to the RACC tonight to watch some boxing. Too bad it is Saturday. There is something else more important going on.

What a terrible job promoting this fight... I box and i didn't hear about it until after it was over. Anyone know the turnout?

From what I've heard there were probably 200 or so bodies there.

There were a lot of flyers up on campus the week leading up to the fight.
