not really. But my brother was accepted into UAlbany today for the class of 2012. He isn't sure yet if he is taking it because he may walk on for football at Rhode Island. However, I am in full fledge recruitment mode! Gives me excuses to come up to Albany now for more events, lol.

'96...that is what I am trying to tell him to do. He isn't even sure if he wants to play football in college.

Just so you know...he is 6'1, 250 lbs. He has been playing organized football for 2 years (junior year of high school). He had 6 sacks this past year as a DT coming off the bench. Never a starter. Didn't even play as a junior.

What are the chances for URI or UA as a walk-on? He got to talk to the URI coach and basically it seemed the coach would take him as a walk one because he has good grades and would probably never have issues and can be something he can maybe mold.

Opinions?
