Sparano, former Asst. under Bob Ford and father of two Great Dane football players, is the front-runner down in Miami and is talking contract with Parcells.

 

Great for him, his family, two boys, and another great member of the Albany coaching tree moving on!!!!

This is great for the UA program. Absolutely great.

 

Amazing how close the networks are in the NFL. Sparano is hired by Parcells in Dallas and now Parcells hires Sparano in Miami. Classic example of professional networking in action.

Not sure...he was a line coach years ago. His sons came to Albany because of his closeness with Bob Ford from his days here.
