Giants camp should be great this year. Watch out for all the fair weather fans. The band wagon is loading up. Not sure I'll be working in the New York area but it would be nice to see camp, especially this year. The last few years have been a bit light in my opinion.

 

UA should be able to show off some of the campus improvements. Entry plaza and the purple path should be complete. An improved campus can't hurt with recruiting. Success begins with recruiting.

I can't find it now, but I think the T-U reported that UAlbany VP/Athletics McElory and football coach Bob Ford were invited to the Executive Mansion to watch the Superbowl with Governor Sptizer. I wonder if they talked about a new football stadium for the Great Danes?

I finally tracked this down. I had the information right, but not the source. I read it in the Schenectady Gazette, not the T-U, print edition (how 20th century )

I spoke with Lee at the Women's game today. They did watch the game with the governor.
