UVM Could be losing Lonergan....

It's being reported the Mike Lonergan is the front runner for the HC job and has in fact already met with HC people.

 

It would be a shame to see him go but if he does go...how can you blame him? A chance to get a SIGNIFICANT raise, be the top dog at the school not playing second fiddle to UVM hockey, significantly more resources to run a program, better gym etc.

Lonergan has family ties to Holy Cross. His father is a Holy Cross alum who played on the 1952 HC baseball team that won the College World Series.
