16 of 17 players are on campus.

 

The active roster will be 15

 

Aronhalt update, he's on schedule and pretty damn strong benching 300.

Hmm one person to red shirt...anybody feel like speculating on who it could be?

 

My guess would probably be Watts or Glanton. Tartt and Black are both probably going to see some PT this season. With Covington leaving, I would assume there would probably be a need to having Blake active as well.

Iati - out a year for transfer

Puk - out for redshirt

 

The two "walk-ons:"

Scotty McRae - previously announced

Fran Urli - Sorry Bosi

 

Then the freshman:

Tartt - Rookie of the Year (I'm kidding, not really)

Watts - ROY runner-up

Metcalf, Glanton and Black filling out the rest of the all-rookie team.

Will Brown's website has been silent recently. I wonder what's going on?

 

Maybe some of you forum members can recall better than I, but I thought we usually received an update from the coach sometime around this part of summer. I know he traditinally is heavy into recruiting this time of year, but he also takes a well-deserved rest sometime in August.

 

Any news? How did summer school work out for the athletes? Any more comments on the upcoming schedule?

Most the players are home now.

 

From what I've heard they will be coming back for classes shortly and that's usually when we hear something.
