4th is low, but based on our inconsistent OLine play last year its not wholly undeserved. We're very unproven on the line and as Fordie said in the article - if you can't run the ball in the NEC you won't be playing in November.

I never see preseason picks as meaning anything especially those of coaches who are least likely to go out on a limb. Coaches predictions are basically last seasons standings with move a team up a spot or 2 if it is obvious that the team ahead of them lost a lot compared to your team or move a team down a spot or 2 if you lost a lot more seniors than the next team. UA finished tied for 4th last season and was picked 4th this season. So what. The potential is there to contend. Phil Steele sees it. We see it. Others don't yet see it. Either way, it has to be done on the field before it counts.
