Actually, it is probably:

 

A) A small check (maybe 200-300k...if that, honestly I think it is going to be closer to the 150k)

Cool to play in the brand new stadium

C) A game we could never get...because frankly, we would be in that football game with a chance to win. They are a bad team right now...and Albany (if we get anything out of our QB position) would be very upset minded in that game.

 

Still...awesome for Wagner; huge step up.

I bet you its double whatever we've gotten paid in the past...especially to open their stadium, but I agree with D96 - we'd never get that game. They wouldn't take any risk at all opening that stadium with a loss to an FCS team.

 

I hope Wagner shows them how bad they screwed up though....

Hey, why open up the season with a loss to a D2 team (Wagner loss to D2 NE-10 Assumption two years ago) when you can play FAU, get your butt whooped, and come back to Staten Island with a nice check. Doesn't sound like a bad gig for Wagner.
