This might sound pretty disingenuous, but I really hate to start rumors that I have not heard from several sources, But (there's always a but after an opening like that) someone who I consider to be very reliable in the football program told me today that our players and staff are very excited about a QB from California who will be playing for us next year. I tried to probe to see if he is a freshman or JUCO, but couldn't get anything further. Has anyone heard anything similar?

I have heard a similar rumor, but not from my usual source who is as accurate as it gets with this kind of stuff. I also heard he is in the area of 6'5" and 220lbs. I believe he was supposed to be going to St. Mary's but they folded, not sure though! CAN YOU IMAGINE? I think he may also be a hooper. JUST A RUMOR...nothing etched in stone.

Wow what a find this kid would be if its true!
