I'm OK with this game and the return is a decent game in our arena. Lets win it!

I'd rather our young men take a break and rest, and get ready for the A East tourny during that period...

than play another game, especially against a fairfield type.

 

Call in sick so they don't have to waste their time. Bracketbuster has become ridiculous.

By now, it must be half of D1 plays in a bracket b game.

 

Haha..unfortunately you don't get to decide after the games are picked. We agreed to be in it before the season started..so we're playing.

 

Maybe Fairfield hasn't been followed closely enough..but they're going to be a pretty big favorite in the game. Their record isn't eye-popping..but they're a very good team with a number of good wins and not really any bad losses..pending the result of tonight's game!

 

If we didn't get a TV game..I think this is the best opponent possible. A strong team just 2.5 hours away.

 

Now that this thing is settled, let's go there and pound em into the ground, for wasting our time!

I'd rather have Syracuse coming in to Sefcu for a beating.

Fairfield isn't bad but it's hard to get too excited about a MAAC school. Still, a chance to represent the conference against the MAAC and root for Vermont to do the same. BB has become the AE - MAAC challenge the last couple of years.

 

Even the "top" games aren't that terrific although Creighton v. St. Marys should be a great game. I'm a big Matthew Dellavedova fan.

 

ESPN would be better off highlight some of the great mid-major conference games that occur organically instead of trying to manufacture excitement.

 

DP Well put, but then it wouldn't be the ESPN overhype machine.

 

I also am not excited for another lowly maac team either but that is what you get from this dying event.. I would have rather played a real MAC team as we see and hear way too much about the lowly maac and hargly hear anything about the better MAC,
