Werth was a big loss.  Heep and Haney made decisions in their best interest but were also a loss.  BUT,  the last four recruits look to be positive additions to the women returning.  I think we will be fine!!!

Agree with Oldtimer on recent recruits. In fact, I see good things in all 8 new players, particularly the overall size. We have another Swede, Ida Allberg, to hopefully replace Werth. Meghan Huerter is supposed to be really good. She can replace Ellen Hahne. We appear to have 3 real good rebounders in Jessica Cooper, Deja Evans, and now Gabriela Falcao, who can also score. Good front court presence. Roster is at 13. Room for 1 or 2 more?

I get that players can move on, but still disappointed in so many departures from what appeared to be a close-knit, happy group. Haney apparently wanted to return to Ohio. Will miss her ball handling and hustle. The others? Not sure. 1 big negative is the non-return of Haegerstrand. Might be wrong but I thought she had a covid year coming. Her loss really hurts. So we go into this season with many new faces, the return of Kayla Cooper, Lily Phillips, Fatima Lee, Abby Ray, and a player who I’m hoping becomes a good point guard, Marie Sepp. Really looking forward to this season in our “new” arena.
