  1. I live in northern VA and was thinking about making the 75-minute trek to Baltimore later this month to watch the away game. From what I’m reading here, I probably shouldn’t bother…
  2. Is that the new floor or old floor? Would be surprising if they’re using all that equipment over the new floor.
  3. Please, the official phrase on the board is “butts in seats.” I just hope we don’t go all $iena on ticket prices. No one will show up, even if we’re semi-decent. How much were single game tickets last year?
  4. I always thought calling it "Arena" was a big stretch. "Fieldhouse" more like it; "Center" is ambiguous enough to work for pretty much anything.
  5. Lol - what an ignominious honor. The best of the bad. Go Aztecs!
  6. I’m probably too old fashioned, but I like the steep ass bleachers where you’re on top of the court, and I despise giant midcourt logos. Just fugly IMO, even if it’s big ass dog.
  7. Living in Northern Virginia now, so I’m there! Here’s hoping we keep the deficit to under twenty points…
  8. Boys and girls - it’s one game by a team with a new coach, many new players who haven’t played with each other, in a program coming off of a couple of years of uninspirational mediocrity. It’s a project that will hopefully bear fruit. We were 5-23 in 2002-03 and were in the Dance two years later. Give it some time. Yes, it may be a lot of losses this year and maybe next, but hopefully there will be flashes of brilliance that will foretell of glory to come. U know
  9. I like the court, logo, LED mood lighting - except the purple on the court is way too light for my taste. Not sure if it’s a university color standardization thing, but our purple used to be much deeper and bolder. Now it’s bordering on floral. But if they win, they can go pastel for all I care, ha ha.
  10. Pretty sure this is a misprint - should say we’re picked fourth.
  11. Fourth place in AE - you heard it here first.
  12. For each of the sessions on Friday and Saturday, I have two adult (age 13-up) and two youth (age 2-12) tickets available: Section 113, row 8 behind the visitors bench (which I'm guessing is where Albany will be for these two games since they're listed first) Friday Presbyterian vs. Sacred Heart at 5:00p Albany vs. Quinnipiac at 7:30p Saturday Albany vs. Sacred Heart at 4:00p Sacred Heart vs. Quinnipiac at 6:30p PM me if you're interested in any or all tickets. Thanks, S$
  13. No, cw. It has to be 4th. Every year, the predictors predict 4th. Now get with the program.
  14. I’m predicting that the predictors whose day job it is to predict will predict that we finish 4th in the AE. Who’s with me?
  15. Yes, congrats - JuniorGDG! I remember taking our first born to games back in 04-05. We used to put those foam earplugs in her ears so she could sleep through the buzzers and crowd noise.
  16. Ah, remember the bad old days when you had to pay some damn school or conference eight bucks just to watch the Albany game?
  17. Correct me if I’m wrong, but don’t we usually get picked to finish fourth?
  18. Love it. UMBC on a weekend — I’ll be making the hour-long drive from Va.
  19. Agreed - Joe was clearly half a step too slow on many defensive occasions this year.
