That's the hope. There is no Thomas or Beagle on this team. That's a lot of scoring and rebounding. Even with those 2 we were a .500 team. That being said every team gels differently. We need to hope this team plays well together.

Because of the lack of proven talent on this team we need to get the best player available out there, regardless of position.

While I agree, I will add ...another true big with skills to help right away. Bringing in a 7'0 freshman or something like that who will leave the following year does nothing. At this point this team had a talent issue. They need to bring in the BEST player available right now. No matter what.

Call me absolutely crazy and I can't believe I'm going to say this but unless they can get another big conference atheltic drop down , I would rather see them bring back Newton. We know he can play offensively. If we bring in some juco player, we have no idea if he can play.

That good? He had 2 D1 scholarships, all offered last week. This team on paper will not win 10 games.

Another scholarship just given out. I will explain more when the roster is complete, however there is no way in hell this roster has the talent of last year. No way.

3 years left to play. Seems like an OK signing. As of right now there is no way this team is as good as last year's team and that's sad. They have 3 scholarships left and need 2 impact immediate starter players. If not, it will be a long long year.

From Twitter Amar'e Marshall tells me that he's withdrawing from the transfer portal and will return to Albany next season. Averaged 16.7 PPG in 2023-24. Huge return.

Of course not. But I do believe in the saying "Adapt or Die". This is D1 sports. If you don't want to try and be successful then go back down to D3. We will see how it goes but at least on the surface it appears UA wants to be successful.

Absolutely. And if the person you can get is a 7 foot project what will likely take 2 years to develop when you are a losing team, then sure. But I can tell you that it's not a recipe for success. For record I don't follow this player. Just read what the "experts" are saying that he is very very raw. We don't get players of his size in our league unless they are. We should not be focusing on raw players on a losing team.
