Well, I think the only thing proven is that we should beat the teams we are supposed to beat, even on the road. That's not a bad base. Certainly SBU and Vt. had a tougher OOC so that may prepare them better than us. Our big guys are a nice surprise and obviously Cremo is a big bonus. Winning while Hooley figures his game out (I think he is almost there) is also impressive. Free Throw % going in the right direction. It seems we always have difficulty with a good press and this year is no different. 3 pt. % is a head scratcher - little chance of winning a tourney game without that clicking

A quick look at the box score shows Ray having a very efficient and active night.

I disagree about the crazy drives. I think they hurt us as not only do they rarely go in but he often falls to the floor on them and is late getting back on D. This game he has been better about staying upright and finishing or dishing but remaining in the play. His wild stiff is ridiculous, just trying to draw fouls.

I wonder if Singletary is ill. Not great hustle, trouble finishing, ... .
