This was a 100 percent accurate statement at the time. Throughout the nonconference we would switch on the high ball screen. Both Binghamton and New Hampshire (in the first half) knew this. They would set the high ball screen to create severe mismatches and really open shots. It took us wayyyy to long to change this. But the good news is that they did in the 2nd half. They started to only switch on the guards and either fight through the screens or hedge them. I'm sure you saw that as well. It took them to long to figure that out but at least they did. Team played much better defense in the 2nd half. Offensively the team is poor. But get better players in there and they should be fine.

What I am saying is that I believe Killings can take advantage of the new rules and it can really work to our advantage. KILLINGS CAN BE OUR ADVANTAGE. And I expect him to be. So I fully understand what you are saying but I think that MAY be the old school approach. If he starts 3 freshman and 2 sophomores or something like that then I fully understand. Brown tried that and It did not work out. It may be a pipe dream but I really think our coach is very charismatic and very well respected. Therefore I think he can really use the portal to get players that Brown could never land. I'm not saying I want all transfer players but I do believe this is the new normal and believe Killings could excel at it. (I really do). When I say tranfer players I'm not talking juco players. I'm talking about players from a higher conference transfering down with multiple years left. We could have as many as 6 scholarships or so (Champion, Cerruti, Perry , Newman, Doles, and Horton). I believe Horton and Doles could return again. (Covid Year) . 6 freshman is too many. Get 3 or so impact guys from the portal. Again maybe too high of expectation but I believe Killings himself has high expectations and would agree. His connections may be able to land us something special. He labeled himself as a recruiter. I hope he can become 1 for us. And I believe the portal could really help and accelerate the process.

If it does not make sense to you then u may not follow the transfer rules. Which is fine. I will explain it. With a ton of players in the transfer portal it is easier for a team to get better quickly. The same applies for not sitting out a year. In previous years you would need to sit out a year when u transfer. I understand when you say competitive however Killings being a "recuiter" I believe he will have an advantage in the portal. On other words the portal and transfer rules will benefit us more, in my opinion. That's what I'm counting on.

Neely needs to play 30 to 35 minutes a game. More for his development. He is going to be really good. We are not a good team. Let him play through his mistakes. Play for next year.

They have a transfer from St John's that I guess is their best player. He did not play last night. I don't know much about him. Thats just what I was told.

They were missing their best player. So it was a wash. Maybe.

I really like Binghamtons team . 1st year head coach and if looks like he did a nice job. Again I will give Killings this year but that's it. With the transfer portal and not sitting out a year there is no excuse next year. Get on the trail and recruit.

Worse defensive half of the season. Could not stop a nose bleed. Constantly getting beaten off the dribble. Need to play better in the 2nd half.

I love the optimism. But I think a .500 record in AE play would be an over achievement. I of course hope for better and if they can average 70 a game, (That's the ncaa average) then I think they have a shot at 11 wins or so. I just don't see that happening. Continue to build on this season and get better for the next one .

Little played a better 2nd half . Neeley played very well. Team played very good defense. Glad to see them get a win on the road.

I fully understand Little is a freshman. But he is not a division 1 player yet. Always out of position on the defensive end and not a good offense players. Really needs to work hard this off-season.

I'm not sure he is dressed . Could be wrong. Also good start. The issue is that we know they are only scoring around 60 points. So the defense needs to continue.

Different game . Same old story. Defense was boarder line excellent. Offense is a failure. Cannot win games scoring consistently in the 50's or low 60's. But they play hard and I will give Killings this year to recruit to get "his" guys in here to turn this team around.

There are a ton of keyboard tough guys this day in age. Guys that will talk crap online but would run away at the thought of confrontation. This is the new way . Not surprised at all.
