Bring Brown back on an extremely short deal or move on. He has done a ton for this university but sometimes change is good . The grass is not always greener but something has to change. He is too loyal to get rid of his assistants. No matter what happens I'll support the program.

Good game. I got my wish and they played as hard as they could. That being said I hope they let Brown go. I have been a season ticket holder for 10 years sitting center court. He has made several coaching mistakes this year. If they bring him back I will support him but it's time. A major mistake this game was : down 2 with the ball. Offense completely lost. Brown with 3 time outs does not call one. Ball gets stolen that's really the game.

I do believe Brown to be a good big game coach. Needs to make the adjustment on defense and see what happens.

There two bigs were in foul trouble. The first 10 mins, Hartford had approximately 6 layups and dunks. They will be back to start the 2nd half but the defense was better with the 2nd string bigs in there.

Name a game in this shortened season when they won and did not play well ? I looked at the stats. You can't. That's kind of my point. Good teams / team with heart win games when they have an off night. We have not all season . Does not mean we can't turn it around in the 2nd have (like Vermont) , but we can't win playing the way we are.

Team has had no heart all year. Hopefully they will start to play better but I won't hold my breath.

Playing terrible. Hartford has like 6 or 7 layup or dunks . We have not won a game this year without playing well. We are in trouble.

Hartford is going to play slower and make us play defense for the entire possession. Our rotation is still a little slow and Hartford will attempt to make us pay. Hartford can be muscled around. We need to move the ball around quickly and look for the mismatches that will occur. Should be a good game.

Played well . They hit the open shot . Doles was outstanding. However we can't expect 4-4 from 3 tomorrow. Hartford is a good team that plays small at times. I don't care if we lose tomorrow but I want them to play well.

In our 2 games against these guys we scored the ball at will. However they scored pretty much at will themselves. They don't play good defense. We need to work the ball around and get good shots. As long as we hit our shots today, we should win this game. They will give us high percentage shots, we just need to put the ball in the basket. I want to see us play well in this tournament. No excuses. If we lose, then we lose. Just play well execute.

Good win. Played much better defense today. Offense did just enough. But again things went well for this team and they won. They can't have anything go wrong. Very soft. Would like to see them put consecutive games together. There is talent here. I don't care if they lose in this tournament but I want to see them play well.

You would think wrong . AE is one of the lowest conferences in D1. Has had 3 bad years in a row . Where is he going to go? Family lives in the Captial District for 20 years. If he had the chance to stay here, turn things around he would. One more year is an additional over 300K. I'm not sure your financial situation but that's a lot of money for me. You guys are probably right. It's going to be a 2 year deal or more. Or letting Brown go outright. Hopefully we win the next 4 or so games and we don't need to worry about it.

Again he was on a 1 year this year. (Last year of contract, which means a 1 year deal) Got like 7 new faces. Not saying it was a great year but please remember that. A lot of u are missing the point. I'm saying this year was a free year (did not cost anyone a year of eligabilty) in other words next year could be a redo year. If almost everyone stays (a big if) then it's the same as this year . That's all I'm saying . Give Brown a chance with this group over a full year. It's no different then this year. If they succeed recruits will come. If they don't then a new coach would want his own guys anyway. Try this . Close your eyes . Pretend this year didn't exist. ( I wish) and open them back up. Give the team a full year to gel with a 1 year deal. Not perfect . But I do believe this team has talent .

Yes. He said it openly . The interview was posted here sometime before the season. Click stated the exactly the reasons. I understand the year contract is not great but that's essentially what he was on this year. Remember that. Toss this year up to a loss, give him 1 more year. Just my thoughts. 3 years would be bad, but I would have no choice to accept it . A different direction would be refreshing (however the grass is not always greener) . I would like to see the 1 year show me deal ( or max 2 years) . Maybe not realistic but who knows.

The reason for the 1 year contract is because I believe most guys are coming back next year. You may have 1 or 2 scholarships at the most in this scenario. Brown made it clear in an earlier interview that he will be recruiting less and less 4 year kids. A lot of new players this year, I would like to see what happens if they all (most) return. If this fails you can move on with a new coach pretty easily.

This team has a little bit of talent. But is super soft. I mean you can't get any softer. I extend Brown 1 year. See if most of the team comes back and gets a full summer to gel.

Just a terrible season .... I hope all return... that being said a sweep this weekend (a difficult task) could put us as high as 3rd. I want to see us pay well the reminder of the season. If we lose playing well that's fine. Build on something and I do believe we can come back next year a force in the AE.

I agree ... however we do finish with 2 games against Binghamton, as long as no more pauses. The seems to be a log jam right now from 3 to 8. We may need those games to improve our seeding. Stoney Brook is in a free fall. I would be very very disappointed not to go 3-1. Should have a good shot at 4-0.

Number 5 on Lowell is the biggest cry baby ever. I really like the players, but they are not consistently playing as a team. I hope they all return and get a full summer to play together. If they do that then this team has a shot to be very good. Good spilt. We will see about next week . -

I don't like it . Too much time in between games . There should be 8 teams . 1 site . Over 3 straight days. That way covid become a much less issue.
