  1. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY DID IT!!!!!!!
  2. https://gogoldenknights.com/sports/2010/7/16/GEN_0716105154.aspx I got to think the city will purchase the sports complex. Seems to already be used for community and high school events and the city's department of recreations headquarters are there. Makes total sense.
  3. I haven't paid attention in a while. Didn't UA sell all the dorms and facilities that were across the street from St Rose a few years back that were down on Western?
  4. Wasn't the battle between football and basketball schools what killed the original Big East? St John's, Georgetown etc...got out and wanted focus of conference basketball. Syracuse, UConn and others saw money in football. I think the moment is right for the AE. You can have 4 current AE schools. You can maybe welcome back a former members (Stony Brook) for football and maybe all sports (if the CAA isn't as attractive for them). You can get a really good academic big city school that already plays the 4 AE schools in football (Villanova) and you can maybe bring in 2-3 schools that the conference has looked at for years to join in (Monmouth, Central Connecticut State), maybe in all sports. The AE has the ability to start a football conference not with new to FCS schools, but very well established ones. Again, you can also get LIU involved as you then get the conference into NYC. Frankly the AE would be stupid to pass this up. To me, it honestly doesn't even hurt basketball or other sports, but improves them. But again, this is just a thought.
  5. If the Northeast/New England teams would accept what it is, you can actually make a really good new conference... UAlbany Stony Brook New Hampshire Maine Bryant Monmouth Rhode Island See if you can get Villanova on board. Then go raid the Northeast Conference. I would take LIU, Central Connecticut State and Sacred Heart. You have a very solid conference if you ask me. But what do I know.
  6. December 2nd at Casey...12 PM... Winner of North Carolina Central vs. Richmond
  7. Delaware would be tough for a second rounder....but it's playoff time...everything tough.
  8. I know it may sound not important, but does anywhere in the stadium recognize the UA playoff participation since joining the CAA or any of the Northeast Conference titles? I would love to have the stadium do that (being at the SB game last week, they literally have it on the top of the stadium).
