just hard for the Siena people to take that UA is one of the most up and coming athletic program in the NE. Cant take that everyone is picking UA to win it big this year, and they may just get .500. Cant take we whooped them last year...its great

when i was reading the TU today, i was kinda surprised Ford has put all the blame on him and the coaches, saying, "it was poor coaching"...but yea, there is not much to say. I think theyll win next week, but i dont know about the rest of the season.

WCDB apologizes for not giving you coverage of Homecoming between UAlbany and Stony Brook. The weather in the Albany area was quite bad, and with so much press coverage, we had tech problems with calling the game. We do truely apologize for it. We hope to make it up to all of you.

so i went down to the field today...pretty much its still a construction site. The field looks awesome. But there is still alot needed to be finished. But it looks pretty good.

I agree about 4,000 for the first game it will most likely be an attendence record. I don't know how anybody else feels about this but I really doubt we could ever get 5,000 people to fit into the RACC comfortabley, I just don't think the arena could deal with that many. People should definitly pack snacks for the game because getting food at halftime with that one little stand in the lobby will be a nightmare. Should be a good game to watch and its a perfect game for Albany really to shine. I believe we beat Sacred Heart badly last year at there home court. Does anyone know anything about how good SH might be this year?

Also I think attendence might be really helped if we can win against Florida, if we can beat Florida and get national attention and play at MSG I would be willing to bet that we will have a sell out at our season opener. And I think Florida can be beatin if we play a smart game.

By the way has there been any info on how good Oakland is? I've noticed there isn't alot of talk about them. If memory serves don't they have a fairly young team this year?

you know i really wish UAlbany would get with St. John's and Notre Dame when it came to Athletics. Id love to play them in basketball, i know they played them in lacrosse this weekend at the Baltimore tourny. Vollyball would be good also. Baseball would be an awesome match up as well.

id love to see an update on the site for it...i think this field is gonna be sick when complete and you get fans out to it...i mean its gonna change the face of field hockey and lacrosse like never before...like to see them update the info on the Facilities Page with a finished pic and info on it when its done ( i expect they will)

Anyone heard or seen anything about these two. Scouts has them listed as offers from UA...Zampier getting looked at by alot of people (Indiana, W. Virginia, Siena, DePaul)...anyone know anything?
