I haven't seen the new uniforms, only the helmet shown on the web site.

That is why I asked what color for each. LSU wears white with yellow pants and a gold helmet, but they also wear purple tops with yellow pants.

 

So what are we wearing color wise?

yellow pants, white jersey with purple stripes on the outside of the arms, with yellow in between, and yellow helmet with the new logo on it.

Thanks. I wasn't sure if we were going to go gold-topped on our old purple/purple uniforms and then white/purple on the road.

 

It'll be interesting to see what we wear at home games - previously all purple.

Should have kept the old Jerseys, Im glad I didn't get home from work till a few mintues ago or I was going to take the 10 minute trip from my new house to Hofstra. This is embrassing.

Bazan just looks horrible. He has no fire to his arm. He is just throwing junk lobs in the air, and he just looks lost. I rather see the Frosh in right now.

Northeast Conference has the helmets on it. My computer has Microsoft Paint and I added Go Danes. In general, not tonight.

Observations:

 

One- Lucas Kurtz, sorry, did not play well tonite (neither did the rest of the secondary). IT WAS AN OVERALL HORRIFIC PERFORMANCE, though the lack of a pass rush is to be faulted for some of that.

 

Two- GD84....what game were you watching? NICKY BAZAN was the most athletic player on that field....right up there with Hofstra's best players. He threw some ducks, but that kid throws the ball very hard....he had some serious zip on balls that the receivers dropped.

 

Three- The receivers played terrible....dropped way to many easy balls and a couple of toughies they should have had.

 

Four- The offense did look out of sync, something attributed to the first game, young guys, and the obvious talent difference.

 

Five...the bright spot....THOSE UNIS LOOK FANTASTIC...I MEAN OUTRIGHT AWESOME.

 

Sixth- Geir had a decent game...but I saw him absolutely crush some kid on one play....it was a nice pancake block.

The game was on Fox Digital in Atlanta as the regulary scheduled game in Florida was cancelled because of the Hurricane. Some thoughts:

 

1. Liked the uniforms. they are the same as LSU's

2. Fantell looked pretty good

3. Huge difference in team speed especially on the outside - wideouts and corners

4. Huge difference in QB's - saw the same thing vs. Montana, Northeastern and Brown. Didn't matter that Bazan was in, Delgado would not have been much better. The difference appears to be their ability to read defenses and make accurate passes.

5. Tough to get a pash rush with a three man line - can't really blitz because the passing was so accurate

6. Hofstra could have easily scored 60 or 70 points.

 

This said, UA will be undefeated in the NEC
