I guess this is pretty old news; but I didn't know it until reading this morning's Gazette. Jack had a heart attack the first week in February and has not yet returned to work, but was able to attend yesterday.

By the way, the Gazette covered Brown Town somewhat negatively, harping on alcohol consumption.

Wow I didn't know that either, I hope he feels better and gets back to work. He is probably one of the best guys you could ever meet. And you can tell he loves what he does

I found out yesterday because I was sitting in front of some student athletes that took his class last year.

 

Myself and my travel partners know Jack from our days at Five Quad and wish him a speedy recovery.

 

Could someone post the Gazette article. It seems that their site is pay to play.

Glad to hear is doing better.

 

I echo the "nice guy" sentiments. I knew Jack from my Track days and time spent w/my knee in his whirlpool.

 

Now I run into him in Saratoga once in while. He always has time to say hello and chat a bit.

 

A good guy.
