Midnight Madness

Does anyone know when Midnight Madness is? I think it would be great for the University to make a real big event out of it instead of the annual 8pm scrimmage. It should be a real big party, and if there is any school that knows how to have a big party it is UAlbany!!!

In the past with Doc...didn't the team practice at 12:00. Not many students showed up...and it was just the players and the coaches. I thought it was done late in D3 history with Graber,Hotaling...etc.

 

And yes the big time basketball schools do promote it.

The NCAA sets a date when official team practice may begin. Some schools make it an event (contests, dunking exhibitions, etc) with the team bursting onto the floor to the cheers of the fans at the stroke of midnight. The Madness events peaked a couple of years ago, but some schools still do them
