The 4-pack for $10 and the kids free promo certainly helped 12/20 attendance. The concession lines looked long but moved quickly and the Danes Gear seems to attract buyers. Someone is listening and making an effort. Keep it up!!

The stats on the UA website list attendance at 644 is that accurate or was that fabricated with only about 200 present.

I thought there was a pretty decent crowd but I'm not sure on the numbers. One concession stand problem before the game was frozen hot dog buns. so they weren't serving hot dogs. I have to say though that sending the guys around with sodas, hot dogs and snacks is a terrific idea. We couldn't get any hot dogs before the game but they brought them right to us after the game started. Things have certainly improved this year.

the problem is, now the campus is closed cause of the end of the semester. They kicked everyone out of the dorms before 12 pm yesterday...i know i would have gone to the game if i was still in town. Its annoying that they play 3-4 home games over this vacation, when no one, student wise, is going to be in town...that is going to hurt attendence.

It's tough to schedule 9 non league contests in 6 weeks. The money games have to be on the road and then you must accommodate the other teams you'll play. It's not an easy task to make sure the games fit into each school's schedule.

 

I know the coaches and players would appreciate playing in front of 1500+ fans at home but you also have to deal with the semester break.

There is really no way around the break, since getting any home games for teams our level is hard.

 

I wasn't at the game, so I have no clue about the 644 mark being accurate or not.
