The ladies made a run at it in the second half but LaSalle was just to much, good effort; the team looks much improved from last year.

I told my wife the same thing. It was nice to see all 4 of the new players put some points on the board.

take away the first five minutes of the game and they matched them well.

I guess emotions took over the first part of the game and they where cold.

I liked the pressure defense though. One criticism I have is they need to move more without the ball.

 

 

I see this team getting better with every game and should have a good season.

Times-Union story Sluggish getaway says about 100 tickets were given away.

 

I didn't see the game as that encouraging. Too many open shots allowed (LaSalle shot 61%), no rebounding, mostly not enough quickness. Almost all the points were from outside. Too many trips down the floor were just chucking from the arc.

 

We were wondering what the NCAA record for traveling violations is (both teams).

I agree with the travels--it really ruined the game for the spectators. Sometimes officials think they are on Broadway instead of a basketball court. No team was favored by the travels---only the coaches were excluded.
