GREAT FRIDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL!

Recommended Posts

NCAA Division I Football Championship Semifinal round game Friday, December 8th at 7:30pm on ESPN2.

UMASS at Montana. ESPN is brining in temporary lights for Washington-Grizzly Stadium which sold out today (over 24,000 tickets).

Should be a great game to watch on ESPN. For those of you who didn't travel to Grizzly Stadium in 2002 you should definitly tune in. It is a sight to see and a goal for our University to strive towards. Check it out at http://www.montanagrizzlies.com/content/facilities/wgs.htm

FYI.... there is no longer such thing as Div-IAA.

We are now classified as NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS). IA is now the Bowl Championship Subdivision (BCS).

what a great place to showcase the FCS. By far the best venue in 1-AA, I mean, the FCS.

That ended up being a good game. I shouldn't have been surprised (but was) to see the students with no shirts on at a night game in December in Montana. I think they said it was 10 degrees there last night.

I feel sorry for the people in Missoula. They have nothing to do now. Is Montana basketball any good?

They have a decent basketball history. A couple of tourney appearances I think.
