Albany picked to finish first in the AEC. Not sure how much of the prediction is based on respect stemming from the last two years. Vermont picked to finish second followed by UMBC and Boston. I'm not sure if I agree with the picks. Not complaining though.

Assuming I can't vote for UAlbany, my pick would be Boston University; possibly Vermont. I think we'll see more parity in the conference this year, as that has been the trend lately.

I agree on that one.

Picks don't mean anything as far as wins and losses go or with respect to the goals of the team. If I remember correctly, the goal of the team is to compete for the conference championship and NCAA berth every season. I think it is always good to have that as the goal even though you will sometimes fall short.

 

In this case Blue ribbon respects UA's talent, coaches , hard work and everything else that goes into a potential first place team.
