3pm tomorrow...ESPN U

We have to be in the mix. We have a very good shot here folks.

It's going to come down to whether or not the Committee will take a 7-4 team and a 5th CAA team.

If not they'll have to decide between:

UAlbany

Dayton

Norfolk State

Alabama A&M

-------------------

My take....we have a very strong chance.

We have the strongest schedule and us and Dayton are the only teams with a win over a playoff. We should get the nod if it comes down to us and Dayton based on strength of schedule. Dayton has played two sub-DI games this year and that will most likely ruin them.

Tune in folks and check out www.anygivensaturday.com for what I'm sure will be a $iena show if we are selected!

For those of us without access to ESPNU.

12 Noon-1:00pm EST - SME Network Will be having a Pre-Selection Show

3:00pm - 5:00pm EST - CSN Waves will have their Selection Show Coverage.

11:00pm-Midnight EST - SME Network back for a Post-Selection Show with calls.

There is more info on SME's Post-Season Coverage HERE

And for CSN Waves HERE

And for SME, they are really off a bit on their predictions. They still have Holy Cross being considered for an at-large which is not even in the realm of possibility

Here's the thing, we will be under a lot of marginally informed people's radars. But I can guarantee that we are not under the radar of the Selection Committee. We will be on the whiteboard today.

The Committee is made up of AD's from schools representing four regions.

All the details about selection, etc. is in the Handook:

http://www.ncaa.org/library/handbooks/foot...ll_handbook.pdf

Central Region:

Southeastern Missouri AD

Western Illinois AD

East Region:

Lafayette AD

UMass AD

South Region:

Morgan State AD

Coastal Carolina AD

West Region:

Nicholls State AD

Cal State Sacremento AD

There are subcommitees that support the regions.

East Subcommittee Members:

John McCutcheon, University of Massachusetts, Amherst, chair

Mark Hermann, Towson University

Bob Krimmel, St. Francis University (Pennsylvania)

Patrick Lyons, Iona College

Bruce McCutcheon, Lafayette College

Ron Ratner, Northeast Conference

These committee members have been working out the bracket for the past month or so. They just come together today via conference call to finalize and make any changes. They aren't ever actually in the room with each other.
