WOW....awesome for Buona. Tony Slywa was pulled for partyin during a terrible showing for Senegal.

 

Condoul got the start instead and played World Cup team S. Africa...a team the US had a tough time with. Buona let in one goal, not a bad one, in a 1-1 draw.

 

He had, according to the reports...A REMARKABLE SAVE to keep the draw.

 

Games like this...and the rumors started circulating again today that Buona is maybe 1-2 years away from a transfer to at top Europe side. Early rumor is Newcastle United.

I have to say that so far, Bouna has been the most succesful UAlbany athelete in his particular sport. Anyone disagree?

the match was the final match of the tournament for Senegal, as the tie eliminated them from the tournament along with South Africa.
