Princeton dropped two spots to No. 5 after the loss to Hofstra. Hobart was the big winner in the bottom half of the rankings, jumping from unranked to No. 13 after improving to 4-0 with a defeat of Georgetown. Albany and Army also made it into the rankings this week.

NIKE/INSIDE LACROSSE: 1. Virginia, 2. Syracuse 3. Notre Dame, 4. Cornell, 5. Princeton, 6. UMBC, 7. Hofstra, 8. Maryland, 9. Duke, 10. North Carolina, 11. Johns Hopkins, 12. Brown, 13. Massachusetts, 14. Navy, 15. Colgate, 16. Loyola, 17. Harvard, 18. Albany, 19. Fairfield, 20. Georgetown.

However, Quint Kessenich’s NCAA Lacrosse Top 20 is a bit different:

" 1. VIRGINIA, 2. SYRACUSE, 3. CORNELL, 4. NOTRE DAME, 5. HOFSTRA, 6. PRINCETON, 7. UMBC, 8. MARYLAND, 9. BROWN, 10. UMASS, 11. DUKE, 12. NORTH CAROLINA, 13. JOHNS HOPKINS, 14. FAIRFIELD, 15. LOYOLA, 16. HARVARD, 17. COLGATE, 18. NAVY, 19. TOWSON.....

Vermont, Hobart, Georgetown, Penn State, Rutgers, Albany, Denver, Army, Bryant, Ohio State, Villanova and Bucknell can all be tossed into a pile here. I’ll give my vote to 20. DENVER."

Towson and Fairfield ranked? ..... he must have banged his head and is in la la land!

I guess he thinks that we are as average as all of these other teams.

Throw Albany into a pile? Not much respect coming from this guy.

We need to start showing some dominance.

Let's go earn some respect gentlemen.
