Albany should be getting SOME love.

Indiana jumps ahead of us, after not being ranked?

Michigan, 1-3, moves UP 2 spots?

Ohio State, 1-3, moves UP 3 spots?

American, 1-2, stays at #14?

Penn State, 1-3, moves UP 1 spot?

 

Albany moves up to #21. This poll was horrible.

We should have never dropped out of the top 20, ending last season and starting with this year's preseason poll. We should have stayed around #15. Regardless of losing certain players, we won the AE championship, and played Maryland very well in the NCAAs.

Finally, ranked #20, they are getting some respect... although they should be ranked higher.

They just beat Providence, and providence is ranked #19 with a 3-6 record. Go figure.

Nice story in the Gazette today on the Field Hockey program (I don't think they're online anymore.) Talks about the ranking and international players.

 

Very nice article. He made the mistake by saying we lost to BU in the AE Championship game... and obviously said nothing about going to the NCAA tournament. Kind of bad details to get wrong.

 

The entire article, beside that, was very good.
