5-23; THERE IS HOPE!!! See Lehigh

Flipping between the MD/Duke and Lehigh/American game. For all of the UA players, alumns, and fans, we should take solace in knowing this fact:

 

LEHIGH was 5-23....TWO SEASONS AGO!. They are now up 7 w/ four to go and look to be heading to teh dance.

 

Arguably, we have more talent returning and entering UA next year than Billy Taylor had to work w/ at Lehigh during their 180. Sure, we are in a better conference, but the ability to turn it around is something that could and should be done in the next two years at UA.

 

Oh yeah.....and WE BEAT LEHIGH BY 8 in OT...w/ a depleted squad!

You don't have to look so far away - is there any reason the men's team can't show at least as much improved results next year as the women's team did this year?

The Men are positioned to have a tremendous turn arpound year.

 

The only questions are how well will they jell as a unit(?) and how long will it take for them to jell into a solid unit?

 

If team chemistry is good and egos don't get in the way, we should have a major turn around!

 

If Zoellner, Dyson and Brent Wilson are solid we could be very, very good!!

 

Let's hope next year's team works and plays as hard as this year's group did.

I think UB went from 5-23 last year to 17-12 this year.

As far as I can remember Lehigh is the only team the Danes have beaten the year they went to the NCAA's. Who would have guessed this would be the year it happened.
