CCSU game moved to Friday Oct 22nd for TV (MSG)

The Central Connecticut at Albany football game in October has been moved to Friday night, Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. and will now be televised. The Blue Devils and Great Danes will square off on MSG, and more television outlets may be added in the near future. Central and Albany have combined to win or share the Northeast Conference title in seven of the last eight seasons dating back to 2002. The Blue Devils have won three titles while the Great Danes have four during that time frame

Mixed feelings on this one:

 

1. It takes away one of the 4 good weather saturday games.

2. Its a short week after what is going to be a very tough and very long road trip to RMU

 

 

The University has to hype this huge to the student population or else attendance is going to suffer big time.

It's Friday night before a weekend, and a game on a regional tv network that everyone gets. Students/people can come out and then go party after the game or whatever.

A chance to take it to CCSU on regional TV on a Friday night over a game with less broadcast range on a Saturday morning with TW3? Sign me up all day.
