OT: Kelly Sheffield

I saw that former UA Coach Kelly Sheffield is leaving Dayton for Wisconsin. He won the A10 four out of his five years at Dayton and probably has a shot at a national championship at Wisconsin.

good for him...a really nice guy. When I was doing radio for WCDB, he was so willing to work with us. He invited us to come and look at scout tapes when WCDB first started covering volleyball. He even helped us nail down terminology to help our broadcast. He even showed up to do a live broadcast from NY Giants camp when the NY Jets came in for that practice. He always thought big, sometimes bigger then UA probably could handle. But he was one of the nicest guys.

Nice to see some Albany mentions and remember how well he built the Albany team in his time here.
