UAlbany vs. UMBC (2/6/2013)

Recommended Posts

Albany site article said "All 11 Great Danes, who suited for the game, recorded at least one basket." Did Chris Page not suit or did they mean all players who played? Anyone know??

Anyhow, I only listened to the second half, but It sounded like UA totally dominated and everyone who "played" contributed. Might be a good idea to sit Mike (if he is not near 100%) on Saturday and get him ready for the stretch run. Giving Gary and DJ additional minutes seems to be helping the team and they will both benefit from more minutes, experience, and confidence. I still think Page? and Wiedmann can be contributors [if not this year but next] with a little more game experience.

From nysbuckets - take it for what it's worth - but it seems UA does play a little "D"

"The team with the third best defensive efficiency rating – 92.9 points allowed per 100 possessions – in the America East held UMBC to six field goals in the first half, while forcing 11 turnovers and 22 missed field goal attempts."
