America East tournament format change - 2015

14 posts and not one in favor of the change. I will make it #15. We always enjoyed going to the tournament especially when men and women were at one site. This is a super bummer for fans and I'm not sure it is good for the conference. An expensive move for the schools---go to Maine for game #1, go to UMBC for game #2 and UVM for game #3---I don't think anyone will go to Stony Brook because they will be out of the conference by 2015.

Wilkin reports that in 2014, the women's title game will be Monday, March 10, at 4 pm in Albany (not moving to the highest remaining seed on the next Saturday). The game will be on ESPNU

They are losing a lot, but I looked at the new profiles available on the UA website, and among the new recruits are the #45 guard in the country, and the #48 wing in the country. In the very least there should be a very good young group to build around.
