2014-15 Football Roster Up- Some changes

Losses (other than graduating Seniors):

 

Will Allen- met him on campus last year. Big OL. Had hopes he would pan out.

Kyle Downer- QB transferred to JMU

Brandon Baylor- S- Started against ODU, played 12 games.

Nick Cleveland- DL Was a Redshirt

Jake Dwyer- ILB- No info. Big player for us before a couple of injuries.

Cody Greenhagen- ILB- played in 11 games as a RFR. No idea what happened here.

Clay Harris- CB. Started 10 games.

Zach Morton- DE- Big Contributor.

Dirk Weisenburger- OT- Transferred to DII powerhouse GVSU

I wonder why Downer transferred to JMU?

Because Shanley is pretty good, Sweeney had a great spring, and he was originally recruited by JMU.

Clay Harris is a loss. Plus his father was a good guy and helped with our tailgates.

 

I wonder what his deal was.

A few would have been 5th year seniors (Harris, Morton, Baylor and Dyer) and may have decided against coming back.. Maybe they graduated and didn't get a scholarship for the 5th year? Especially if they're paying out of state tuition - just a guess.

I thought the same but many of those were not listed as RS Jr's the year before. Some had injuries last year.
