New Starting Five?

On a slightly different note, I don't remember ever seeing so many shots being blocked by our opponents as I have this season. Am I imagining things? Are we just playing some better Big's so far? Is the shot selection just worse?

2018: 3.8 bpg so far
2017: 4.2 bpg
2016: I didn't track this stat my first year lol #eliassportsbureauwouldbedisappointed

From the UA web site stats 

2016-17  4.1 bpg (144/35 games)

2015-16 4.0 bpg ( 131/33 games)

2014-15 3.5 bpg (116/33 games)

In each year our own blocks were less than half the opponents, averaging around 1.6 bpg

So yes,  GDG99, you're imagining things - or not remembering the past. It's the same as it's been for at least five years.

We've never been a strong blocking or stealing team. We typically out rebound people and generally match on assists but we almost always lose the steals and blocks battle from what I've seen.

Yes, they block four of our shots per game, we block one or two of theirs.

I wonder if that is because we aren't driving as much (I think) so the percentage of shots blocked inside is greater. The 'ol statistical trick of % vs. #?
